Cararact Surgery

Unfortunately there is no medication for cataract. Therefore, cataract is one of the most surgically treated eye diseases. I am carrying out cataract surgeries in my practice. The aim is to remove cloudy lenses and replace it with an artificial lens. The new lens has the refractive power of the removed lens.

Most cataract surgeries are performed on an ambulatory basis under local anesthesia by applying a syringe or drops. On your request we can offer you an inpatient treatment with general anesthesia.
