Keratokonus Lenses

In early stages of keratoconus, visual defects are adjusted with special glasses. Later keratoconus contact lenses can be used. In about 80 to 90% of all cases keratokonus lenses can help to have a normal vision for many years, sometimes even permanently. Sometimes combinations of glasses and contact lenses, as well as "piggy-back” systems of soft and dimensionally stable contact lenses achieve some good results.
