Posterior Capsule Opacification - Treatment by YAG - Laser
Senile cataract is the most
common eye disease treated surgically. About 50 % of the patients treated
surgically of cataracts are suffering from posterior capsule opacification
(PCO) that is developing within five years after surgery and dims the posterior part of the
capsule of the eye lens.
In our practice you can be treated against such a
posterior capsule opacification (PCO). In treatment I am using a Yag laser in
order to make a hole into the milky capsule and provide a clear vision again.
This procedure is practically painless and is performed ambulatory.
