30 minutes to change your life

At the beginning of the short treatment I clean your eyelid and fix it with a retractor. In the now following treatment, which is controlled by a computer I am monitoring it all the time with the microscope. The covering skin of your cornea is partially sliced with a microkeratome blade. The arising flap is folded down and you notice a darkening and a slight feeling of pressure for about 20 minutes.

After the laser treatment the corneal flap is replaced. It is immediately adapting and completely closing up the surface of your eye. After a short resting phase a follow-up examination is performed and your life without glasses can begin.
