Treatment of Glaucoma - Reducing the intraocular pressure by Argon-Laser

The aim of any glaucoma treatment is to maintain the optic nerve and thus also the visual field and to prevent the progression of the disease. If medication is not successful, a laser treatment might be considered, in order to lower your eye pressure. This can be achieved by making a small hole into the iris with the argon laser.
